Midwestern Electric, LLC. (MWE) is looking for an Electrical Estimator to prepare detailed estimates for the project based on the design documents, narratives, and specifications, focusing on the Electrical trade. This position will report to the Division Manager. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The items listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Duties/Responsibilities/Essential Job Functions:
• Performs routine duties independently, using sound judgment, thoroughness, and competence.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, analysis, estimates, and studies for all Electrical items incorporated in the scope from conceptual design through completed construction documents. Preliminary design work may be required to complete conceptual estimates.
• Daily use of Accubid Pro.
• Analyze existing site conditions and all contract documents (plans, specifications, etc.) to determine the required scope that is not already indicated.
• Develop working relationships with local material suppliers and equipment vendors to solicit accurate and current pricing of electrical material packages and miscellaneous materials.
• Perform constructability analysis of project documents. Communicate design and constructability issues to the project team per the project contract.
• Ensure general conditions and general requirements items are adequately addressed in the estimate.
• Develop a value analysis by defining alternatives to the proposed Electrical systems, materials and equipment that are more cost-efficient.
• Act as a liaison with engineers, design consultants, MWE staff, client and owner representatives to resolve Electrical issues related to the project preconstruction efforts.
• Prepare estimates and proposals for all contract types including lump sum, GMP, Cost Plus, etc.
• Participate in estimate reviews with the design team and client.
• Lead project hand-off to Project Managers to ensure proper transfer of knowledge from estimate to preconstruction.
• Prepare scope requisitions for the bidding/procurement of Electrical systems; coordinate with fellow estimators to eliminate scope gaps and overlaps.
• Lead the evaluation of vendor and subcontractor proposals relative to their scope of work. Determine scope coverage and manage risk of scope gaps.
• Assist project staff in evaluating large change orders.
• Must perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Related electrical field experience – journeyman-level experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
• A minimum of two (2) years related electrical estimating experience on projects ranging in electrical value from ($100K – $1M).
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedules.
• Knowledge and experience on Excel Formulas is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Accubid Software preferred.

Physical Requirements:
• Performance of the required duties will sometimes require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, ability to climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction.
• Specific visions abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Maintenance Associate will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
Plans repair work using building’s blueprints or equipment manual as needed.
Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing and installing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.
Performs routine maintenance on building systems.
Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
Assists with warehouse duties when needed.

The High Load Technician is responsible for Escorting Specialized/High Loads via a designated route, ensuring that utilities and other obstructions are raised and/or repositioned for safe travel. These utilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Secondary voltage drops
• Traffic signals

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable (AP):

• Process and review construction-related invoices, ensuring accurate matching with purchase orders, contracts, or work orders.
• Verify coding and approval of invoices before processing for payment.
• Prepare and process payments to vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
• Monitor and resolve discrepancies or issues related to AP transactions.
• Maintain detailed records of payments and ensure proper documentation is filed for audit purposes.
• Reconcile vendor accounts, including resolving any outstanding issues related to payments or invoices.

Accounts Receivable (AR):

• Manage the preparation and issuance of invoices for completed construction projects or milestones.
